Volunteer it Yourself
Back in January, a group of our students at SBU attended a Volunteer it Yourself project at a cricket club in Rochdale.

The project gave them great experience and training in both carpentry and painting and decorating as they engaged with renovating the cricket club.
The process of learning the skills needed from the mentors on site our students worked towards City and Guilds qualifications in carpentry and painting and decorating.
All of our students were amazing and worked hard over the course of the week they spent at the cricket club and we had some great feedback from the mentors about their work ethic.
I would like to say well done to all, but especially Alfie and Jack who had superb reviews!!!
