Class 5 - Reddish Vale Farm

Class 5 went to reddish vale farm as they have been learning all about farms in their topic in class.

The children firstly went into the small animal barn and were greeted by some cute little bunnies, guinea pigs and a tiny baby goat!

All the children had a bucket of carrots each which they enjoyed feeding to the huge horse, goats, sheep and donkeys.

After feeding the animals the children went on a tractor ride to see the two highland cows. They learnt lots about the cows including what they eat, how they use their horns and what their fluffy coat was beneficial for.

Unfortunately the highlands cows were resting and wouldn't come to see the children as they were due to have their calves any day.

After the tractor ride all the children loved grooming the ponies.

We had a walk into the woods to find the pigs called potato and leek, and they came down to say hello!

After such an exciting time with the animals the children enjoyed the park and bouncing pillow, the children even persuaded Miss Moores to get on but she didn't need much persuasion!

😂

All the children were fantastic and really enjoyed their day out at Reddish Vale Farm!
