On Tuesday class 7KH visited Round Barn quarry and mine in Bolton to understand the difference between caves and mines. It gave them the experience of what it might have been like to work in a mine years ago and see the conditions and labour that the miners would have to endure. We also discussed potential jobs in construction in the area.
